Raydan Heating & Air is named after family. It's owned and operated by Jay Kan — the person you'll actually meet when you book an appointment.
Before Jay opened Raydan in 2017, he spent more than a decade working inside larger HVAC operations around the Las Vegas Valley. He saw what a lot of homeowners see from the other side: padded quotes, pressure to replace what didn't need replacing, technicians trained to sell before they diagnose.
He opened Raydan to be the opposite of that. One owner. One truck. One number that he answers. Careful diagnosis first, honest pricing second, no commission structures pushing anyone toward a certain answer.
Nine years later, the reviews keep using the same words: honest, fair, wonderful. That's the only scoreboard that matters in a small shop.
Jay — Sukirtharajan Kandasamy on paper — has been working on heating and cooling systems for more than fifteen years. The early years were other people's shops, other people's rules, other people's pricing books. He learned how a well-run call worked. He also learned how badly a call could go sideways when the technician was selling instead of listening.
In July of 2017, Jay filed his paperwork, got his license, and put his own name on the door. The shop has stayed deliberately small. There's a real reason for that: when it's one person who owns the company, answers the phone, and shows up at your house, the math of honesty gets a lot simpler.
That's the whole pitch, really. Raydan doesn't run a call center. It doesn't have a sales floor. It doesn't have a quota. If you need heating and air work in North Las Vegas, Las Vegas, or Henderson — the kind of work where you just want a straight answer and a fair number — Jay is a phone call away.
Raydan holds Nevada State Contractors Board license #0083282, C-21B scope, and carries a performance bond. We're BBB-graded A+ (not accredited — just the grade). We don't claim NATE or EPA certifications we don't hold, and we don't claim twenty-four-hour service our one-person shop can't actually honor. Straight answers, all the way down.
